Do you have a cross bite?
Ideally, your lower teeth should line up to the inside of your upper teeth. If they don’t, like the teeth shown in the photo above, you have a cross bite.
Cross bites can affect the position of the mandible (lower jaw bone) creating an off-center bite. Cross-bites can be corrected using orthodontics.
